DESCRIPTION
PWP Single RO/DI System
OVERVIEW:
The Pure Water Power Single RO/DI stands out as an affordable and high-quality water-fed system, guaranteeing pristine results for your customers' windows. Featuring a four-stage water purification process, this system not only ensures superior quality but also enhances the efficiency of your work.
Filtration Process
Pure Water Power has designed this RO/DI system to feature an optimized tap-pressure water output, delivering between .5 and 1 gallons per minute. Achieving this involves the incorporation of four distinct filtration stages, ensuring the most effective and economical filtration process available.
This process starts as the incoming water supply gets filtered through the sediment filter, removing rust and large solids from the water. Next, the water travels through the carbon filter to eliminate chlorine. After traveling through both filters, the water then moves through the RO membrane which will remove 98% of the total dissolved solids, or TDS. Finally, the water filters one last time during the deionization stage in order to bring the TDS level down to 0.
Construction
This unit comes equipped with durable brass quick connections and standard garden hose fittings. Additionally, a stainless steel RO housing safeguards the 40-inch membrane while the 10-inch sediment, carbon, and DI filters are shielded by durable plastic casings for added protection.
With user-friendliness in mind, the included rubber feet are meant to provide stability on uneven surfaces while the unit stands upright. The rubber hand grips and the inclusion of flat-free wheels allow for comfortable transportation, facilitating smooth rolling from your vehicle to the desired location. All these high-quality components are securely mounted on a robust, rust-resistant, powder-coated steel frame that maintains stability when positioned upright.
Output
This water purification system has the capacity to generate between .5 and 1 gallons per minute at elevations of up to 50 feet, given a source pressure of 50 PSI.
To ensure optimal water flow, it is advisable to use a water-fed output hose with a diameter of at least 5/16 inches. Simply thread this hose through your preferred water-fed pole, and you're ready to start your cleaning process.

Hi there, I'm a homeowner, intending to use this only every 3 or 4 months. I saw this on another site (copied directly!): "In the winter, keep covered with an insulated blanket In the summer, it can be stored in a hot shed. Both seasons, water needs to be run through the unit ever 2 weeks on Hurricanes and 3 weeks on the rest. If the filters dry, they are worthless and ruined.". Is this true? Will I have to set a reminder every two or three weeks to do something?? Thanks.
Hi there! Thanks for reaching out! So the main component of this system is the RO Membrane, which cannot dry out without needing to be replaced, which can become costly. However, allowing water to sit in your system for long periods of time can cause a build up of algea, which can cause your system to have clogs in difficult to clear places. Our recommendation would be to chat with one of our specialists that can walk you through the proper care of a system, and also help determine if the PWP Single RO/DI System is what would be best for you. If you are only planning to use a pure water system every 3-4 months, you might find that a XERO DI Tank, or Double DI Cart is a better option for you. You can reach us at 862-266-0677 anytime!
