What battery does this use?
Hi, it uses 1 LR44 battery.

Why do I get a reading of - - - I changed batteries and continue to get - - -. Even after I run water through a Zero Water System? I do get a reading from the refrigerator filter of 450.
Though this product is made to test water, it is not waterproof. Is it possible that your meter was exposed to too much water?
